If you’re looking for a way to fill the sometimes boring afternoon following tomorrow’s Christmas feast there’s one pastime that will be a hit for sure. Gather everybody around the table for and play some three card brag this Christmas.
This traditional British card game is no more appropriately played than over the post-Christmas dinner dining table while sipping a glass of single malt. These days the usual array of Trivial Pursuits, Pictionary and Monopoly isn’t everybody’s cup of tea but we play along anyway in the spirit of Christmas but why not mix things up by breaking out the playing cards and having a festive flutter among friends?

Depending on how many players you have, you can try a range of three card brag variants in a bid to mix things up, games such as four-card brag or bastard brag if you have lots of players or seven or nine-card brag if there’s just a few of you playing.
